Eligibility/Qualifications for BTech:

• The majority of admission decisions are made in light of the student's performance on the entrance exam.
• Candidates must have passed the class 12 exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their main subjects from an accredited board.
• Additionally, they must have received a minimum of 60% overall in the disciplines mentioned above.

Entrance exams for BTech:

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the National Board of Accreditation have regulatory authority over all technical programmes, including BTech (NBA). Engineering entrance exams at the national, state, and institution levels are required for admission to B.Tech programmes.

• JEE Main is the entrance test for BTech admissions to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
• It is administered by the National Testing Agency. Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and Paper 2 (BArch/BPlan) are the two papers that make up JEE Main.
• For BTech admissions to IITs, there is a national entrance test called JEE Advanced. To take the JEE Advanced exam, candidates must first be JEE Main qualifiers.
